Recognising Our Commitment to Apprenticeship Excellence

In 2024, Hodgson Plastering Contractors Ltd was proud to be nominated for Apprentice Employer of the Year by Hull College—a regional recognition award that celebrated our ongoing commitment to developing skilled tradespeople and investing in the construction workforce of the future.

This nomination followed the successful completion of training by our latest intake of plastering apprentices. Four new tradespeople completed their framework, joining the ranks of our skilled team and continuing the tradition of growing talent from within.

Our Office Manager and CITB Administrator, Sarah, attended the awards evening alongside our Contracts Manager to accept the accolade—recognition of the hard work, mentorship, and structured pathways we provide to young people entering the industry.

This achievement once again underlined Hodgson Plastering’s dedication to social value and regional development, particularly in supporting young workers into meaningful careers in construction.

From our base in Hull, we continue to deliver nationally while building careers locally—offering opportunities not just for apprentices but for all those looking to develop trade skills and progress in a rewarding industry.
